Golden Valley Camp is located in the beautiful Sierra Foothill forests of Amador County. We have 10 rustic cabins, 3 detached shower houses/ bathrooms, a dining hall with large attached deck, a snack shack, a large multi-purpose room, a low ropes obstacle course, 2 large recreation areas, a small pond, a community camp fire ring, and an outdoor chapel. The 40-acre forest setting is quiet and peaceful. You simply must see it to experience it to the fullest.

Dining Hall: seats up to 64 for inside meals while the adjoining deck overlooking Golden Gate Creek offers additional seating for 32 people. 

Snack Shack: is one of our guests’ favorite stops. Our staff will accommodate your schedule. We serve an assortment of candy, soda, ice cream treats, Italian Ice, and savory munchies.

Field House: is a 40'x40' multi-purpose building capable of seating up to 110 people in an auditorium-type layout. You may wish to set up tables and chairs to use it as a meeting room. Some groups like to use it for indoor sports and arts and crafts. Equipped with audio and visual equipment, this building is ready for you to use however you see fit.

Outdoor Chapel: seats up to 120 people in a forest setting for church services, twilight worship or group witness. There’s plenty of space for multi-media if your group desires.

Golden Valley Camp provides a private wilderness setting where you and your group can draw closer to God...and each other.

The cabins are appropriately clustered and separated to meet your needs for lodging and supervision of mixed gender groups. All of our bunks include a mattress. Each camper provides their own sleeping bags and pillows.

Meadowview Camp (Girl's Camp) has four cabins: Finch, Robin, Quail and Wren. Each cabin in Meadowview Camp sleeps 12 in double bunks. In addition to the four cabins, Meadowview Camp is also serviced by a central bathhouse with 3 showers and 3 bathroom stalls. It overlooks the peaceful pond and meadow.

Wilderness Camp (Boy's Camp) has four cabins that sleep 12 each: Cedar, Pine, Oak and Madrone. Wilderness Camp has its own dedicated bathhouse with 2 showers and 2 bathroom stalls. It is a moderate up-hill hike just above the Outdoor Chapel.

Central Camp: (2 cabins next to basketball court) Creekside cabin sleeps 5, while Barrett cabin can sleep up to 7. These two cabins use our central camp bathhouse which has male and female restrooms. Each restroom has 3 bathroom stalls and 3 showers.
