TREASURER WANTED
The Treasurer is a volunteer (un-paid) member of the Golden Valley Camp Board of Directors
and shall be responsible for conducting the financial affairs of the organization.
The Treasurer shall maintain or cause to have maintained the following:

Cash Receipts - Deposits - Accounts Receivable - Accounts Payable - Cash Disbursements Monthly Payroll - Quarterly and Annual State and Federal Payroll Tax Reports Annual Exempt Property Tax Statements - Annual Sales Tax Returns - Help with Budget Prep Monthly Income Statements and Balance Sheets-Attend Quarterly Board Meetings
The Treasurer shall prepare or cause to have prepared:
Annual Federal and State Non-Profit tax Returns.
Interested individuals are encouraged to send a letter of willingness to serve, if elected, and resume of experience and qualifications to:

We invite YOU to join us in this unique ministry. Donations of all sizes and forms are appreciated greatly! We try to meet most of our operating expenses through our camp booking fees, however, many of the camp’s long-term enhancement projects are completed through the generous donations of camp supporters old and new!
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
- Time In Prayer - for the GVC Board, Staff, Volunteers, Camp Directors, & Campers
- Labor - using your skills and talents along side our staff during GVC Work Days
- Financially - One Time Gift for a specific project or Monthly Giving for ongoing expenses
- Networking - with us/within your community for connections and resources helpful to camp
- Materials - for new construction projects and building up-keep.

The organization is organized and operated under the Nonprofit Religious Corporation Law exclusively for religious purposes within the meaning of Internal Revenue Code section 501 (c )(3) or the corresponding section of any future Internal Revenue law and within the meaning of California Revenue and Taxation Code Section 23701(d).
The specific purpose of this corporation is to operate a Christian religious camp.
The organization has not been formed for the making of any profit, or personal financial gain
