Meadow

The Meadow:is a beautiful grassy flat area for Archery Tag, flag football, kickball, tug-o-war, etc. Here you will find the famous MUDPIT!  The meadow is the perfect spot to pitch a tent for a true nature experience.

 

 

 

The Pond: Although seasonal and small, it's a great place for swimming and fun water games. Because the pond is seasonal, please check with us to see if it is available for your stay.

 

Miners' Challenge Obstacle Course
 Obstacle Course

The Obstacle Course: is a series of LOW ROPES physical challenges. Helmets, harnesses and certified instructors are NOT required to participate.  Obstacles can be completed successfully by teamwork or by individuals.                                      GVC Staff is always available for guidance.

 

The Central Camp Courtyard: is the home of our new flagpole!!!  Surrounding Old Glory is a half basketball court,  volleyball court, campfire ring with seating, horse shoe pit, 2 ping-pong tables, tether ball, box hockey and stilts. Under the game pavilion you can enjoy carpet ball, air hockey, foose ball, and a tiny putting green.   The Snack Shack and large deck are the perfect place to chill out and relax with friends. The Field House has a large collection of table games and puzzles. Restrooms and showers are located here for your convenience.

Hiking Trails

Hiking Trails: are located on both the GVC property and Land Management property adjoining.       GVC Staff Guided hikes are required for first-time campers on the moderate to strenuous trails.
